Melaleuca bracteata

Family: Myrtaceae

Bushy shrub, can grow to 10m, with creamy white flowers in short spikes or clusters which appear in winter and spring.

Prefers growing in places with extra moisture such as in gullies and along watercourses.

Small scattered populations across northern and central Australia (Western Australia, Northern Territory and coastal Queensland).

Plants grow readily from seed with no treatment.
