Family: Asteraceae

Annual wildflower which blooms in the winter months, usually June to September.

Named after John McDouall Stuart.

Common on sandplains and the base of sand dunes especially after good autumn rains.

Large range across southern Northern Territory, South Australia, western New South Wales, south west Queensland and northwest Victoria.

Where to find this plant at Alice Springs Desert Park

Poached egg daisies can be found at the front entrance to the park, in the visitor centre courtyard and in the Sand Country habitat.
