Red Centre Bird Festival

Red Centre Bird Festival

Wednesday 19 – 23 September 2018

Red Centre Bird Festival is one of Australia's leading nature festivals will come alive in the heart of Australia from 19-23 September 2018.

The Red Centre has a suite of birdlife unlike anything else on offer around the country, including amazing iconic species such as Spinifex Pigeon, Dusky Grasswren, Rufous-crowned Emu-wren, Bourke’s Parrot and Mulga Parrot.

These iconic species are rare and you would struggle to find them elsewhere, but in Central Australia they are a common sight and we want to share them with the world.
Locals and visitors are invited to enjoy what the Red Centre has to offer with activities for experienced birdwatchers, nature lovers and those starting the journey.
